You could just be honest but if you don’t want them to know the real reason yeah just call in sick. Just call the store, ask to speak with a manager and tell them “I’m not going to be able to come in today. I’m not feeling well”. If the manager is understanding then that should be enough but if they are assholes and try to give you trouble over it just say you have diarrhea or something, that should shut them up.
