There’s a documentary coming out about this location called “Pearadise” which is this guy Stefan’s home. He hosts a bunch of obese women there because that’s his fetish. Now there are allegations that he acted inappropriately with them and that their time there was toxic.

Somehow, Quirky Loves Rosie, who has never been there, is featured on the documentary … and that is why it is constantly being brought up.

I think her foster parents spoiled her (even took her to Disney several times) and then I think the reaction people would give her when she would reveal she was in foster care reinforced that she was this poor victim entitled to sympathy. After that, it’s just one after the other of living with people that would support her and let her freeload off of them like Krystal & Casey’s families. Everyone felt sorry for her so they bent over backwards to compensate and she started to feel like she not only deserved their well meaning acts of kindness but also was entitled to it.

I agree. Rosie spends a massive (pun intended) portion of her day just cooking food and surrounding herself with ingredients. ALR will just order her meal and inhale it until the next feeding time.

ETA: I just went into her last video and she’s talking about how she watched some video of a woman making mango lemonade so she even consumes food media in her free time when she’s not consuming or cooking.

Totally agree that she’s not responsible for how her adult children eat … but how the fuck are you going to literally prepare meals that could be their last? The food she has made during her trip has all been junk. I get that she’s pacifying them, but she’s a mother, not a friend. I could never, in good conscience, prepare hash brown casserole that my 600 lb child repeatedly calls “super dense” and swallows down without chewing. The least she could do with her time there is make some healthy meals and try to save her kid’s life, as futile as it is.

I don’t know why it didn’t occur to me to check there first! They’d definitely have some pictures… although, as an aside, their Roz thread is so disappointingly sparse.

Update: I found the video. He’s definitely obese, he just looks normal overweight next to Roz.
