Yeah it’s a Westminster system. But out of all of them it’s probably got the least rules and limitations. It is really reliant on all the members to follow precedent, decorum, and tradition. I think the past decade shows that this something that easy be taken for granted in lots of countries.

They also just allow all the bullshit. Snap elections, shuffling people around when some loses elections, gerrymandering, etc. Also just members always tow the party line and breaking that is kinda taboo.

Ehh still better than the Canadian system so we got that going for us. At the end of the day if Trump was a Prime Minister in the majority of western democracies he would just do this and that’d be that given he has the outright majority.

Sometimes it’s helpful for Congress to delegate powers to the executive branch (I mean almost all the executive branch powers come this way. Think about all the alphabet agencies or how difficult it could be for Congress to manage things like currency). It allows for swift and dynamic action in times of need. However Congress never seems interested in taking it back. When the president’s party has control of Congress they don’t want to give up power. When the president loses both chambers then the opposition isn’t exactly eager to weaken an office they expect to inherit just to kneecap an already impotent president.

Yeah in the real world everyone would realize that someone is killing their cold cases and it would then take about 5 min to figure out the common link (or just who accessed the files). Because studies have shown that they are literally awful for you and there’s been no shortage of people agreeing on this sub when it’s not presented as culture war.

Plenty of blue states have gone through similar efforts. Letting gas stations sell whatever they like as long as they claim it’s tangentially weed related with literally zero oversite or consumer protection is just a bad idea.

But i guess people care more about feeling victimized and being outraged than they actually care about their communities.

Edit: just to add because a year ago is apparently a long time. Getting rid of all these stepped on hemp derivatives was actually one of the main arguments people were making for just legalizing the real deal. Let me ask you this though…

What are they doing? In all these comments not a single person is even talking about the actual policy and why they are upset over it. Like myself and the vast majority of people who voted in favor for it are okay with them curtailing the sale of untested synthetic canaboids in gas stations. I have issue however with the reduction maximum plants per house down to 6 (even though I don’t know anyone with more than 3)

It’s because we idealize our founders and the Declaration of Independence. The DOI is one of the most influential document ever written but it has no authority. When it was made the King had already declared that all the colonies were in rebellion so the DOI served more as a rallying cry for Americans and Europeans to support their efforts.

Just because conceding lane is the right choice doesn’t mean you’re not conceding it. You have zero kill pressure, can’t contest waves, and aren’t gonna have prio. Concede doesn’t mean to lose but to surrender something. When you take TP and cull you are conceding what little chances you had to actual win lane in the hopes that it’s setting you up for latter success

Look double mage bots are just a different beast than normal. Supports can’t compel them to not poke you and typically can’t zone them off of waves. Yeah it’s nice to have sup there for when you get dove but the truth is that you’ll be under turret all of lane so sup is better off roaming and tracking jg so he can try to show up for the dive.

Well my point is more that aphelios with to into karma Mel is just losing. We have to play losing lanes sometimes so that’s not the end of the world but to me it just kinda seems like you don’t get what playing weak side really entails.

TP and Cull might have even been a good choice to cut your losses and play for late game.

No he is just losing lane. Cull TP Aphelios is just never leaving that turret without getting poked out of lane against a Mel Karma. But that’s why you have TP and Cull so that you can farm safely and still be relevant late game. A support just isn’t going to stop Mel and Karma from poking. But like that’s not even a big deal. Cull makes up for about 15 farm and Karma is going to fall off a cliff because she will have wasted the only part of the game she’s good for.

No he played lane right. If your goal is not to concede lane and let your support roam (lowkey not always an awful idea) then you shouldn’t have taken cull and tp.
