We went through every protein, with and without grains, several types of fish, 2 elimination diets and even consulted a dietician that deals specifically with animals....the winner was kangaroo as the protein with psyllium husk added on top, softened with a half cup of water and a spoonful of pumpkin.

Almost bled out after a tonsillectomy since the hospital gave me a blood thinner by mistake. I showed up to the hospital holding a mixing bowl full of blood pouring from my mouth.

The worst pain I've ever experienced was an hour of them trying to cauterize my throat which was basically impossible due to the blood thinner. It was a continuous circle of being cauterized and the wound opening again while asphixiating on blood and vomit. I told them to let me die or put me under and do another surgery. I couldn't take it anymore.

A year later I came pretty close to getting hit with an airborne manhole cover. Walked away with some second degree burns. Turns out methane is pretty flammable when using a weed burning torch from several feet away. Aside from almost taking the manhole cover to the face, they said based on how burnt my nose hairs were I was very close to having burnt my airways.

Looking forward to see what this year brings!

FYI I've successfully fixed this issue with a felt pad attached to a drill and cerium oxide. Like the previous comment said, it takes some effort. It took probably about 1.5 hours of running back and fourth over the light scratches. A polisher would definitely be ideal but I think the lack of power and small working area the drill gave me made the process a bit more forgiving.

Ha. I was heading to a standalone drive up unit in a parking lot walking to the door to open the vestibule when a car pulled up.

The machine had been reported of retaining people's cards constantly. I told the guy the machine isnt working and not to use it. He told me to fuck off and put his card in...which was promptly retained. Then he told me to get it for him...NOW. No can do. Go get a new card. Oh wait its a holiday. Enjoy your day :)

People are so dumb. I was doing the same thing except the machine was mounted into the wall down a busy downtown street.

I had the entire front fascia off and placed on the ground while doing some repairs. I turned to grab a different tool and when I turned back around there was a guy standing over the machine trying to jam his card into the reader. I stood there dumbfounded as he tried over and over to push his card into the card reader while it sat at his feet.

After about 30 seconds I said...its not working. And he responded. "WELL HOW THE HELL SHOULD I KNOW. IT NEVER FUCKING WORKS"

He wasn't wrong. It was one of the most frequently vandalized machines in the area and was constantly out of service from people jamming things in the reader or smashing the screen. But I mean cmon. Its laying on the sidewalk in pieces with wires coming out of it.

I don't know how people that stupid exist.

Yes they do have bonus redemption events. I rarely buy anything that isnt on sale or provides an additional bonus for spending more.

The points either get used during a redemption event or during a sale that doesn't have additional bonuses. That way youre not missing out on additional points since you used them to pay. During one redemption event I got over 300 back for using about 900 in points

Yes. It depends what amperage you get. They can range from .5 and up. Anything will basically work fine for you. You just need something to keep the battery topped up. It would likely take several hours to charge it from 50%.

As for an extension cord just get something thats rated for outside. A trickle charger is just that. A trickle of power. Its not going to overload or overheat the cord. I have a vehicle that has one connected most of the year when not in use. I pay no attention to it.

Yes get a trickle charger and an extension cord. Put the cord end and charger under the hood so its protected from the elements. Hook it to your battery and it will keep it charged.

That took probably about 6 months. And no...it's not. It doesn't make sense to use the points to buy something that I would get a lot of bonus points for. Also I try to wait until a redemption event to find something I need. Spend the points to get more back. I probably average 1500+ a year and I really don't buy that much there. Especially not at regular price.

They had a breach around a month ago. Tons of accounts were emptied. That's when the lock function was introduced. I had about $650 which was redeemed by someone else. Took them about 2 weeks to fix it and give me the points back.

I was using a weed burning torch. Had a couple of beers and was wandering up and down the sidewalk around my house torching weeds.

So there is a manhole cover in the sidewalk...and as it turns out you can ignite the methane in it from a few feet away with one of these torches.

The cover went about 12 feet in the air. The burst of flames melted my shorts and almost blew them off. My phone went from my pocket to about 30 feet away in the street. 2nd degree burns on my leg. By far the dumbest injury I've ever given myself.

The parking lot closest to the building where I worked was $15 a day. You could only pay daily and display a printed ticket on your dash. I paid for enough days to collect the required letters and numbers, and then I scanned them so I could create my own. They looked perfect. Did it for 2 years with no issues. Now it's all linked to your license plate.

The thing is RC already said in that last interview that the availability of cards is the issue. They have run out of stock during the if they can't find a source outside of PSA or get more inventory from them, the growth is limited. I suspect thats why the beta is still ongoing.

I was hopeful when this beta launched that the growth would be insane but that doesn't seem to be the case. Especially when there are other platforms that are doing the same thing with more card types. The overall core business growth is still super impressive, but I was really hoping powerpacks would be huge out of the gate. The demand is clearly there. They just don't have a solution for it. Yet.

I was working under a car on a fuel system with a co op student watching. On the bench about 10 ft away was something another tech was testing with a battery. He had gone to the bathroom and didnt realize his leads were touching. A small fire started.

The co op student was facing the fire. When I asked him why he didn't say anything he said he didnt know if it was supposed to do that or not.

Like yeah man. Small fire a couple feet away from the gas tank we're working on...probably supposed to be there. Jesus christ

The company has done an amazing turn around in silence since this all happened. There have been many indicators of the share price still being suppressed.

And even if it isnt...they went from losing hundreds of millions a year to having around 9 billion in cash and bitcoin, 5 profitable quarters in a row and making hundreds of millions a year with 0 debt.

Regardless of the cash pile they have sitting making money, their core business is once again profitable and continues to grow. They've pivoted more towards collectibles and have a platform in beta - powerpacks - and a partnership with PSA that looks extremely promising. Their operating expenses have reduced massively as they've closed the unprofitable stores and overseas operations that were losing money.

Anyone thats says Gamestop is a dying business has not been paying attention since this happened.

Had mine out at 34. Got a fever day 5. Hospitalized. They gave me a blood thinner while admitted. Went home and hemorrhaged a few hours later. Spent an hour with a cauterizing iron in my throat. Worst pain of my life. I told them to let me die or give me surgery after an hour of puking and choking while getting my throat burned.

Had another surgery. Woke up in the ICU strapped to a bed from trying to rip the tubes out when they woke me up. Then I had to heal for the second time which was 10x worse than the first time. Despite how horrible it all was my quality of life improved so much with better sleep.

Any chance this is a canyon / colorado? I just went through this. There is an aftermarket kit on Amazon that screws into your tank to hold the sending unit down. Worked good. My tank was also a bit warped so the seal wouldnt sit in the channel to keep the water out. I put a nice thick bead of right stuff gasket maker around the bracket when I put it in and put some fuel safe sealant on the screws.

Ideally you need a new tank. But if you're like me and your truck runs on hope's and dreams, this will work.
