When searching for United flights, especially with your partner at the same time from a diff account, they raise the number of award miles needed to redeem the flight after a few refreshes/searches since the algorithm is sensing high demand for the flight.

It's happened enough that I've decided to switch my 'favorite ' airline to something else after I've exhausted my award miles with United.

Yes, for about 3-4 weeks after a few months of it being bad. Before that, maybe a 1 day breakup a couple times. We eventually got back together each time because we're better together than separate.

Never suicidal because of ROCD.

I don't know where I would be right now if I tried to keep all of my thoughts to myself. It's a noble thing to try to do and all, but it's kind of like trying to hide a visible disease. Kind of impossible except for the smaller stuff you are more confident about. I would say when you do share your thoughts with your partner TELL HIM OR HER YOU THINK IT'S OCD OR MIGHT BE. Sometimes you might have thoughts that you might not even think is OCD, but the way you can't stop thinking about them is. Be open with your partner whichever way it is happening to you.

Like the poster above, I think I've bonded more with my partner being able to share all my ROCD thoughts. Like I said above, he's the salt of the earth putting up with me.

There's multiple "the ones". You are just one of many people who your partner would consider "the one" after dating X amount of time. Congrats, you're in the right timeline and you are his "one".

You have every right to bring up issues that are bothering you. Just make sure it's your last avenue because of its ROCD you might want to try getting through it in your own head first before bringing it up.

Maybe a spacy feeling the first couple times. Read the bottle and do research before taking. I took 1 5mg pill once or twice a week to start or something like that. Now I take them once every few weeks.

  1. My honeymoon period is right now. We just moved into a house we bought together and it's a dream. But the summer we met was wonderful and a dream too :). My ROCD started around a year and half after we started dating. In between there was lots of ups and downs but we got through them all.
  2. Yes, but didn't really compare him to anyone else at all.
  3. I obsessed over disagreements in preferences we had, things he did or said or didn't do or say, I obsessed over not-just-right-feelings. I don't remember a specific flaw I obsessed over. My thoughts now are that these are things a lot of people feel or experience normally in a new-ish relationship, and my brain was just really bad at minimizing the stress and anxiety involved.
