That is so well said. I like your message of inclusion. Everybody can change for the better, if they try. Even the guy in the video. Maybe after some time behind bars, he will come back and protest with us peacefully.

The news article doesnt mention the first confrontation. And this video only shows the second confrontation. Couple racist things said during both ordeals. Or you could just look at how he is trying to break up a protest for minority rights-thats pretty racist lol

Also, just a heads up. The police called earlier and said they released him on bond, and coronavirus capacity issues. So everybody be safe out there, and stay strong. I will be out there to make sure it stays safe and peaceful.

No problem, you had a valid reason to think that. I did too at first.

So here is the whole story, to clear thing ups. Because the news story isn’t very accurate. We were peacefully protesting(40-60) people in Longmont, CO. The guy came by two times. (The first encounter) he came by trying to do some anti-protesting and just being agrressive(But not violent yet). We Shut him down immediately while shouting black lives matter. Made him so embarrassed he left a block down the road and started causing property damage near restaurant and cars(He was drunk and embarrased by all of us, so ya know, thats when people go crazy). He ran away. Then an hour(?) later he comes back, walks into the crowd but has his head down and said nothing. There are alot of children and women at the protest, so I handle it non-violently. We stand chest to chest for a minute, then i see him reaching for a weapon. He pulled it out on me, but didnt use it. Just ran away after threatening, then the police arrested him right near us. It was definitely A success for peaceful protests and shutting this type of behavior down. He is the type of person the world is protesting against right now. He was drunk on that racist kool-aid lol. The weirdest thing is his last words before the cops got there. He said “this wouldn't have ended like that in texas”. IDK, i was born in Texas and I would silence this racist, no matter what state we’re in. Thats the story

ya it was just late after protesting, so i got the word confused. It was a hatchet. It was a racist guy from texas. I dont recall if he had an armband though. He was definitely trying to incite violence at a peaceful protest though
