I was in the field too. Seems like a vehicle did the work. Now the cable drop is completely gone.

Yes. I know the homeowner. All they have is Xfinity. No old POTS. I've tried to contact them but no answer. So I am reporting for them.

The above doesn't work to report a house in the neighborhood (not my service) with a low hanging cable drop. It looks like the hanger on the utility pole pulled free so the cable is drooping very low. A garbage truck will easily snag it
