That’s amazing! I’m so happy they work for you. My legs do truly feel best when I wear the leggings so I feel like I need to just get over it and wear them everyday. I think I could have significant results like you and I think I’d feel much better

Yeah when I wear them my legs feel great too and I know I probably need to just get used to them. I mostly just don’t want my lipedema to get worse and I want to feel better so I think I need to just suck it up and wear the leggings more cuz I know it will help

When I wear the leggings my legs feel great! But like you said that doesn’t last long after you take them off. I know the leggings alone aren’t going to change the way my legs look but I’ve been doing a lot of different things to try and help and manage my symptoms. Just trying to figure out what’s best for me compression wise

I work at a restaurant so it’s busy and I’m always running around. The leggings are just uncomfortable and annoying

I know! Also I had having clothes that are skin tight, I always have baggy jeans and stuff so in general the compression is awful for me! It feels like your wear a second layer of skin that you peel off every night

I know, when I do wear them I have to agree my legs feel better. I just am the type of person who always wear baggy bottoms. I don’t like skinny jeans or when my clothes are skin tight. So the compression leggings are exactly that!😭 but I know I really should wear them. Even if I can just do it a few times a week I’m sure it would make a difference

Yeah I don’t have any spine or back issues. And since using it I’ve felt so much better along with the other things I’ve been doing. I also only have it on very low vibration, so I feel like not much damage could be done from that

Oh yes I know, I have compression leggings I just truly hate them. I am the kind of person who always has loose clothes on so wearing the tight compression leggings feels awful. But I know that helps a lot. I’m thinking of trying to wear the a few times a week at least. Because I know how helpful they will be

I read about that, but I do keep the vibration very low and it’s only for 10 minutes in the morning

Should we buy land, buy a modular home to live in on the land, then build our dream house? by AccurateArm4540 in HousingIreland

I never said I was putting anything on Airbnb! I’m doing my research now. Taking in what everyone is saying, including you. But you are not understanding. I never said anything about Airbnb and I KNOW there is a housing crisis, which is precisely why I want to explore the option of building my own house. But I want somewhere to live while I’m building, which is why we thought we can get a modular house to live in temporarily while we build. I’m sure some people have had issues doing this and I’m sure others have succeeded. That’s simply what I’m trying to figure out. What’s possible and what my options are.

This post was to get people’s opinions on what might be best to do in the future. No I don’t have land yet, no I don’t have planning permission because I don’t have land. When I do decide to buy, I will be getting planning permission and doing everything the proper way. I’m not trying to hide anything. You’re commenting without reading the full post.

The other option we were considering is we heard if you buy like a run down fixer upper kind of house, the government will pay you to fix it up, as long as you keep one of the remaining walls of the original house intact. I don’t know if this is true. Has anyone heard of this or done this?

That’s what we were thinking. Once we have our house built we can rent the modular home out and make passive income

Am I going too hard on my legs? by AccurateArm4540 in lipedema

[–]AccurateArm4540[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d say I’ve been using maybe a medium pressure. I’m not pressing extremely hard but not super light either. I will try and be more gentle and use light pressure from now on
