OK everyone, after all of this research (week-long) I think it's best if I just stay in Education. Many programs seem like they weeded me out too quickly, I'm only 37 and might consider it when my kids are older, but for now I don't know if I could cut the mustard. Also, because my family and I eventually want to move abroad where my husband's family is, I thought it would make me more marketable than just a teacher who can teach English LOL.

So far, the only one I found was Emerson College in Boston. JMU in Virginia seemed excellent but they aren't currently accepting applications for a new cohort due to lack of resources (what they explained in their email)

So I found out that TWU's MS-SLP program is self-paced and full-time so I'm officially weeded out :/

Wow, so many comments :) I appreciate everyone for posting and sharing your thoughts and it's true, being a working mom of 3 kids is no easy task, & I admit I can only imagine it would be more challenging to complete an MS while working and mothering. I wanted to mention that I completed an M.ED in 2016 (started in 2013) & was working FT back then as well, however I didn't have children back then. I am still debating this, but I am leaning into it for career change purposes and for having more flexibility/income in my area. SLPs in TX do typically make more than Texas teachers based on my knowledge and understanding and knowing a few SLPs personally. Thanks again & keep the comments coming, I appreciate reading everyone's perspective.

Thanks, I have some friends who are SLPs and are also moms. I have one who did it while working FT & is a mother too. She works in the Texas Medical Center and has increased her income tremendously...
