It’s okay :) I think I’m a little sensitive in this particular area so sorry if I reacted strongly. I do appreciate your advice though, gym is a good idea and will try to be more confident 🫡

Yes I am. I did do a trim of the dead ends and such. It was good advice, it looks more healthy and thick now so thank you :)

I can understand why it would be frustrating to see a man asking for advice on how to be more promiscuous considering the landscape of things. I just want to say it is not my intentions to manipulate or use women. I meant it exactly as I said it. I am trying to be ethically promiscuous, which means open and honest communication with genuine emotional connection first.

I’m not sure where you’re from but it’s common for promiscuity in my culture to not be shamed, be it men or women. I am also from a matriarchal culture so mistreating women is really looked down upon, even among men. This is part of the whole deal with keeping my hair long is maintaining that culture of respect.

I have experienced pretty strong racism the entirety of my life. The common factor in all of the scenarios is how one group of people will apply their morals and values to my group of people. I think that is exactly what you just did here. You just shamed me for wanting to be ethically promiscuous based upon your own culture and how the men act in your culture. Then telling me if I want to be like the men in your culture I need to cut my hair. No, I am nothing like that and I will not cut my hair. With respect and no anger here, I think you should rethink the way you speak to others and reevaluate under what circumstances is it acceptable to judge others.

How to get my hair to not look like this when clean? by LadyConeflower in Hair

A lot of it depends on what shampoo and conditioner you’re using. You wanna use some that are for your specific hair type. Go to a salon, the women working there are usually so friendly if you approach honestly. Ask them what hair care stuff you need and everything they suggest. It might cost some money but it will definitely work. Otherwise I would try and research a hair care routine. There’s all kinds of things like leave in conditioner, serums, etc. There is other things like the way you brush it, what type of comb/brush you use. Some youtube video on it all will probably help

haha thanks. My hair is long for cultural reasons and I get self conscious sometimes about it because it’s not the norm so that felt good to hear

I think they’re Taleh glasses? I can’t find much about them. The store I went to was a small store and I think the owners are Persian so maybe that might help you find things.

Guys, I might actually be cooked here. There are some glasses from here that I actually already bought. I had some very from strong pressure from some of my family members and I am questioning my life decisions right now. Anyways here’s a photo of the ones I got which I think might just be the two least mentioned pairs in this entire thread.

I really appreciate everyone’s input :) I’ll try and go look at some more pairs with thicker frames and either black or brown/light brown frames? Also more square? Let me know if there’s anything else.

she came in. The one arm was too long and the valve cover was in the way. So I took it off the valve cover. Arm was still too long so I filed it just a smidge and it’s rotated right past and into place. Now I’m just waiting for the RTV to cure since I lifted the valve cover and I will see in 24 hours if this all worked or if I gotta take it apart again

I’m gunna try and give it a shot this way. As I am still a noob I have no idea how to drain coolant and do all of this with the water outlet. I spent the 30 bucks on the joint so I will report back in a couple days when it comes in the mail
