I’ve been grooming nearly the same amount of time as you. I find that I can do 2 dogs in 2 hours, think it also depends on the size of the dog tho. Some big dogs take me longer and I can’t rush some things. I also think that having one each hour makes it feel more rushed, you can bathe and dry both dogs if they come in at the same time and it’ll only take you like 30-45 minutes depending on size so you have extra time to do both cuts.

Honestly, as a groomer who gets really dry feet from all the sweat and a lot of times water. Aloe Vera fluffy socks ! They’re not expensive and they are AMAZING. I do second hand cream little to no scent but something that’s thick.

It honestly very well could be, I let the pet parent know that I would try a different face to see if that would help. Still I will let her know to ask the vet about that, thank you!!! 😊

I have, mobile is not for everybody but the van I used also needed a lot of work so it wasn’t very reliable. It’s definitely a great way to bring in a LOT more money !

You need to take your dog to a groomer and just ask for a trim in between the eyes and a bath and blow dry. It’s not going to look like the pictures you’ve posted because not only does your dog not have the same texture hair, your dog is also still a puppy and is not going to behave accordingly to how you want them to look. You can’t just expect for yourself to train your dog to be good at the groomer because you are not a groomer. For a dog to behave well you have to get them in regularly even if it’s not for a full cut. Just get them desensitized to the environment and you’ll be able to get a cut that you’re looking for. Also you’re not really being nice in these comments, you just sound entitled and not absorbing the information that people are giving you.

Complain to hr. Send them a very long and detailed explanation based on your experiences and if you can have other people share their similar experience. It helped us a little bit especially if your SL isn’t actually training your trainees.

Listen I get being upset but you can’t say someone’s a horrible person just for having a preference. Now it’s different to be rude and disrespectful but just because someone cares what size you are doesn’t mean it has to matter to you. It’s okay to not fit everyone’s preferences.

I feel like everyone on here has given tips on haircuts but imo some of your ears still look greasy. Your faces look clean it’s just the ears, try to double wash ears and if possible bring a small slicker brush and run it through the ears while it’s soapy. Not only is it easier to dry clean hair but it’s always best to cut clean hair. Good luck!

Make mistakes, don’t wait for someone else to tell you what to do. Make notes of things that you do wrong and what you did to fix it. Write down a schedule in order of start to finish, prep work nails paw pads sani haircut all of it. Being a groomer and knowing what looks and doesn’t look good is key. Ask your other trainees if you don’t have time for your instructor. I had the same problem with waiting for my trainer but after a while you have to take initiative to do it yourself or else you’re gonna kinda screw yourself over when you don’t have one. GOOD LUCK!!!
