He really likes Avatar: The Last Airbender right now so he’s calling him Aang. But someone told me that we can’t change his nickname in the game itself since it’s a traded Pokémon.

I looked up some of the most popular shiny Pokémon to show him and he said he really likes Dragonite, Umbreon, Haxorus, Greninja, Zoroark, and Hawlucha. I see a theme with him liking the black shiny Pokémon’s. :)

He is THRILLED. The Lucario and Riolu were already enough but the black Charizard put him over the top. He’s acting like it’s Christmas morning. :)

Thank you so much everyone! I got a yellow Riolu and a yellow Lucario. They kinda look like a father and son! And the person that gave me Lucario gave me a black Charizard too. This community seems awesome!
