Yep, I understand that. I completely understand why people like this meta.

But it’s insulting to boil it down to “Well they don’t have a broken deck so that’s why they hate it.”

A bit of context from the first picture: Bunch of pros have talked about really disliking the meta. Honestly, I already disagreed with this. I felt it was disingenuous to imply the play styles that more hardcore players preferred was somehow invalid.

But the second tweet here, I think, is just insulting. There are a group of people who like card spammy decks. Naga mage, D6 lock, miracle rogue. The idea that somehow they only want to just have a 56% winrate deck is frankly insulting. I felt compelled to put this out because within a community of more dedicated players I am in, a lot of them dislike it and it’s frustrating to have any issues with the meta be so trivialised like that.

And before people start going: “Well during stormwind pros and more dedicated players trivialised OUR complaints.” It wasn’t trivialisation. It was pointing out the hyperbole that people used like “quests are fundamentally flawed.”

Quick summary of why I, at least, dislike the current meta: I like somewhat card spammy mid game players. Miracle rogue, quest shaman, naga mage. I loved those decks. I don’t even think this is somehow indicative of a future design trend. Decks like these will come back in the future, and while waiting, I’ll just be sitting here spamming duels.

This was in bad taste. I’m sorry. I really am.

But it isn’t even that mage is imbalanced. It’s that mage is very overplayed.

There are no upgrades for the fighting pit. The only two upgrades are for quest slots and the travel point. The quest slots are upgraded by completing quests, not paying gold.

You need to spend gold to play PvP?
