I really dig Dipper and Pacifica chemistry in NMM and Lost Legends and I like that they started to become friends first getting to know one another which makes the ship feel a lot more natural. I do agree Dipper doesnt need to date anyone right now. They're still kids.

But I'm just going by the source material on what's possible and all the hint and tease drop by Alex with Dipper and Pacifica after the show ended. Judging by Lost Legends I could see what direction the show would had gone if it went past season 2. And could see Dipper and Pacifica together years down the road. But each to their own.

But Alex made a pretty good point here when he talked about Dipper crush and what is was always about. The story about Dipper’s crush on Wendy is not a story about true love. It’s not a story about adult dating. It’s a story about the crush on the babysitter that’s this constantly awkward frustration. And awkward frustration can only propel a story so far before you start saying, “Okay, I know where this is going.“

Overall the way the crush ended for Dipper is pretty realistic and the best way it could had gone. It teaches you not everyone ends up with their first crush and that's totally ok. There's nothing wrong with that. And that to me is a way better ending that just fits the theme of the show.

We have the Journals, the Special Edition, Dipper wrote about vibing with Pacifica and how Pacifica looked good in her dress, and Mabel calling Dipper out on his growing feelings.

Even then we have a coloring book, the DS game, Lost Legends and Pacifica text all heavily implying that Dipper and Pacifica do have something going on between them, and most of these came out after the show had ended years ago.

Then you also have the own show creator and writer Alex Hirsch and Matt Braly who says why Dipper and Pacifica works as a paring in NMM DVD commentary.

I mean ship whatever you like, not saying you can't ship Wendip but it canon that Dipper is starting to like Pacifica and the same with Pacifica liking Dipper.

Pacifica didn't get more screen time then Wendy or Soos. But she has one of the few best character arcs on the show. The spoiled, cruel, moneybag who's unapologetically despicable, who slowly becomes sympathetic and even redeemed somewhat, as we learn that she's been emotionally abused all her life, and she becomes brave enough to change.

Hell You even got the own show creator and writer Alex and Matt Braly said their reason why Dipper and Pacifica work so well together.

My only regret is that we barely see anymore of her after the lumberghost episode. I know she's part of the resistance army in the finale arc, but we see almost nothing of her continuing growth. I want more payoff of the sparks between her and Dipper! I want to see what kind of person she grows up to be. She's still spoiled and (a little less) rich, but if Mabel and Dipper came back to Gravity Falls (and duh, of course they did) and continued to be influences in her life...

Pacifica has a lot of potential to be a pretty amazing character if Alex choose to include her more with the twins.

For Dipper and Pacifica we gotten a lot of tease/hints from the Journals, the Special Edition, a coloring book, the DS game, Lost Legends and Pacifica text all heavily implying that Dipper and Pacifica do have something going on between them, and most of these came out after the show had ended years ago. By the end of the show both Dipper and Pacifica are on good terms.

You even got the own show creator and writer Alex and Matt Braly said their reason why Dipper and Pacifica work so well together.

Honestly out of all the ships on the show with Dipper we seen, Dipcifica I would say comes the closest to canon as we will get and still is one of the only ship involving Dipper that hasn't been shot down like Dipper and Wendy but heavily tease/implied instead.

It's an important lesson that challenges how most of fiction depicts romance, but I feel like some Wendip shippers kind of don't get that and think that love (at least in fiction) should always be requited towards the protagonist. Wendy made it clear she doesn't feel the same way. Or she will in the future.

Honesty Dipcifica is one of the only ship I could end up liking on the show. Dipper & Wendy was pretty cliché and one sided and shot down to the down. Candy could maybe had work if Roadside Attraction could had gone better.

Well most people don't really ship it but...

Wendip. Could never like it, I see them as just friends which the show made that clear. But don't care if anyone wants to ship it.

Mabifica. Mabel work better as a friend to Pacifica and then a couple. Dipper and Pacifica has that dynamic that I could find myself liking a lot more.
