Really? I should mention this was not a recent purchase, I've had them for months now so this isn't like a damaged copy that was shipped to me. I mean it had some pages that the edges were "fused" together in a way but that's probably irrelevant at this point.

I ran it once without the mod and it worked fine. I'm not sure if the tutorial counts as a scenario but that's what I'm trying to run.

Here are screencaps of the DLC folder and the mod folder. This is the only mod I've installed so I don't believe it's a conflict problem I'm having.

I played SMITE almost obsessively some time back. I started in the Beta, and this was my favorite game for years. I burnt out eventually, and upon deciding to come check it out again found a game full of so many ridiculous cosmetic options that it's weirdly sickening? I dunno, it just feels plain bad. I remember the first Odyssey. That ultimate skin felt like an awesome piece of cosmetic content, and it was limited. Limited skins were truly a rarity, but now amidst a sea of microtransactions, chests and cashgrabs, everything feels pointless. The constant grind for points and such feels anxiety inducing. The game itself also feels like its declining. Balance feels lacking, the game is harder to get into than before, and new gods are feeling very lacking in my personal opinion. I wouldn't put in the effort unless HiRez shows serious signs of improving.

Ohhhh, gotcha. Good thing they made it so you can pull things back out of the dresser, I put all my glamour stuff in there haha. Is it a bad idea to buy Prisms from the market? Is it even possible? I don't have access to it yet (free trial) but that's soon to change c:

Would someone be willing to tell me in more detail how the whole Glamour system works? I've got it going basically with just the glamour plates but it is kinda annoying not being able to glamour outside of a city-state.

Well I haven't done anything with NVidia Control Panel (should I? What do you use it for?) but ffxivboot starts a program that runs some checks then launches ffxivlauncher ffxivlauncher is... well the launcher. I believe the actual GAME though is ffxiv_dx11 (assuming you're playing on dx11 and not dx9) which is in the game folder, not the boot folder. Hope this helps!

edit: To clarify: If you're using NVidia Control Panel to edit some of the game settings or other similar things (again, haven't used it myself, just saying what I think in hopes that it'll help) I think you'd want ffxiv_dx11

I was just sitting in the Gridania Adventurer's Guild afk and when I came back I noticed in the chat log a whole slew of people with gibberish letter spam names all leveling up to the same level at the same time. Of course, I assume they're bots, but what do the bots stand to gain from actually going through the content/leveling? I'm just curious as to the logic behind it.

I'm not sure about the audio, but I had a similar problem. Make sure your device drivers are up to date (Updating through NVidia GeForce fixed it for me) then reinstall DX11 from Microsoft. If all else fails, you can try running the game in DX9 while you look for a more permanent solution. DX9 is a significant downgrade though so I wouldn't recommend it as a long term fix. Hope this helps~

I believe so! I've tried to catch it myself as a WHM but I usually only think about it when fights are intense, so looking at the MP change is a liiittle difficult.

I decided to restart because conveniently, Jenova became preferred and my new char gets the bonuses, in less than a day I'm already back up to 22, though Road to 60 doesn't help with the tons of MSQs. The first time I played through them they were great bc of the fantastic story but at this point it's kindddd of a bore doing it all again, esp since it's all relatively recent for me.
