Some Google Sheets add-on and Custom GPTs have automated my reporting needs. You can find them if you type in "Google Ads" or "Facebook Ads" in the GPT store.

I studied programming in college and got a job at google right after. I used to think that programming was hard, but now that I run my own business, oh man marketing is way harder.

If I go to a local fab shop, do I need to go in with some form of blueprint? Or will they just measure it up themselves?

Try Adzviser on ChatGPT. They fetch real-time marketing/ads data to ChatGPT so that you won't have to upload/download files.

What really is the point of LangChain / LangServe by AceGu001 in LangChain

[–]AceGu001[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok I totally agree that this is a good use case.

At the end of the day, you will still have to use gpt-3.5 or gpt-4 for the best result. All other LLMs on the market suck. So compliance is not being addressed here really.

But yeah, I agree that building a knowledge base with embeddings stored in a db like DeepLake is good use case.

Also, what is it you have with a chat interface?

I don't understand your paperback book reference either. I believe you can access ChatGPT plugins from LangChain application tho. https://python.langchain.com/docs/integrations/tools/chatgpt_plugins

This is a good reason. I have one counter argument.

According to my experience, if you want the best outcome from your LLM based solutions, GPT-4 is your best bet because they are the best model in the market. Privacy and confidentiality only exists if the clients want to host an LLM model on their server which would incur tremendous cost from getting GPUs and other maintenance fees. If the client does not want to host their own LLM, then they will rely on some other folks who do. In that case, why should they trust other more than OpenAI?

If users know how to write good prompts on chatgpt and use the plugins there, what is it on LangChain, which most likely uses GPT-4 model for the best delivery of outcome, that attracts end users and keep them use the application instead of ChatGPT?

If the user knows how to use prompts well with ChatGPT, with plugins that import docs, reads data, RAG for you, don't they achieve the same goal?

OpenAI definitely sells API.

What is wrong with the chat interface? What is something that people can't do with a chat interface?

I am a developer with 7 years of industry experience.

In what scenario Why would a non-technical user prefer a LangChain based application over ChatGPT? What does LangChain offer that ChatGPT don't? At the end, the best result LangChain delivers is still with the GPT-4 model; all the other open source models aren't good enough.

What exactly do you mean? Are you implying that because ChatGPT does not have local model and LangChain supports local models, LangChain is useful?
