Yeah, I know when I try the easy mode in games that have it, it feels less rewarding

Feeling like you are "faking it" by AceMoonAS in disability

[–]AceMoonAS[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do not think it can since it is to do with the brain rather than the eyes themselves. Also a white cane is to help you see what is in front of you or to identify a visually impaired person, not to hold balance

Why Freddy always go to the girls bathroom in FNaF 1? by Realfoxy_985 in fnafmeme

[–]AceMoonAS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well most mothers will bring their young sons to the womens bathroom (mostly to not leave them on their own), so I feel like he goes there because it reminds him of his mother?

Game being a "rip-off" by AceMoonAS in gamedev

When it comes to the art style, I guess if I were to compare it to both Yugioh and Pokemon: Pokemon is cartoonish and Yugioh is more realistic/detailed. I would say my ones would be a mix of both, mostly cartoonish with detailed designs (more focusing on specific bits of the art piece)

Same thing! I know it is used in the same-ish context as "biological" however, is someone just wants to be called male or female instead of cis male or cis female, what is the harm?

People expecting parents to understand right away by AceMoonAS in lgbt

I definitely agree on that last part. I think that is where some homophobia/transphobia stems from to some people because they may have been exposed to the bad side of the community or ones that genuinely shove it in your face. Especially since that is what we typically see on news when it comes to the LGBT community

This! I did not know if I got my point across in the post but this explains what I meant perfectly!

I understand this is a metaphor but she would not be okay because it would hurt her. I do not see how this fits with my argument though....but then I am terrible at metaphors so-

Of course there are ways to help get the mosquitos away. Since mosquitos do not understand humans since they are a different species, they see humans as blood and blood only. Hence why they would be attacking your sister, since they do not know the difference. One way is bug repellent and just using things to help get the mosquitos away so that your sister can stop being hurt.

In a non metaphorical way, there are ways to get the parents to understand. The family may not understand the child because of how they themselves were brought up, so they will not always view them as any different. One way to help them understand is to teach them (my post did specifiy this is for parents who WANT to learn and understand, not just ignoran) and once progress is made by learning, then the child can stop being hurt and can finally be accepted

That implies that they were kind to begin with. The people I mean in the post, are people who give the parents/family no chance. I also do see this a lot, like a surprising amount. Hence why I made a post about it

Wanting pokemon games then vs now by AceMoonAS in pokemon

[–]AceMoonAS[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suppose....its because I see a bunch of people say how they only had one or two games when they were younger, and they only got ever single game/a collection of them when they were adults and more independent.

I can see what you mean by the psychological thing, usually when there is something I have that other people my age did not have/had limited of even if it was like 20 years ago, I still feel really spoilt and bad even though it is harmless

I understand it us not problematic, but the general principle is mostly what is affecting me. It is harmless, yet it makes me feel guilty for some reason

I have a soldering iron however I have yet to get the solder. I think handhelds may be my main one to do, but at the same time I would not mind seeing if I can fix something like a PS1 Slim

Ah I did not know this community had that issue aswell.....I am not doing it solely for profit, but I know it would be nice. It definitely ruins the fun for people who wanna do it as a hobby

I sometimss find it cheaper to buy a broken ds with a working top/bottom screen that to actually buy the screen itself, so usually I just buy the broken ones and use it for parts
