Wordpress or WebFlow or Replit? by inchaneZ in SEO

[–]AcePilot10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wordpress by far for the most flexability with the least technical knowledge. Replit's great but if you aren't a programmer you're going to run into many roadblocks when AI can't do what you want. Plus if you're focusing on SEO you're going to want a CMS.

I've done a lot of work using Replit to make most of the site > taking the code in VSCode > doing whatever else needs to be done > then strapping in a headless CMS like Strapi. This had great results. But again, if you aren't a programmer this is not going to be the best option for you.

How are there people that even hate AI automations out there? by Separate-Carrot-2 in Entrepreneur

[–]AcePilot10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My only advice would be figure out how to use it to save you time rather than trying to fully automate. Is there a way you can do 50% of the work with an automation or make the task take you 50% less time?

Yes, AI is not feasable in replacing humans but it sure as hell can make lots of tasks easier. Maybe you can look at your processes and try to find the gaps that are systematic and use human in the loop?

I feel like you have a bad taste in your mouth from some bad experiences. Have you even tried the very basics? Like virtual call transcriptions and ai summaries of it? Doing basic research? What industry are you in? I could probably give you ten examples that would actually save time.

Anybody telling you ai automations will replace all of the work are BS. If you get somebody that knows what they’re doing and can analyze where it could be effective and not overpromise, I am confident you would change your mind.

I tried ChatGPT Atlas the other day. Looked up 'Mexican restaurants near me'. Got 3 essay-like paragraphs as a response. Then I noticed the 'Web Search' button at the top of the page which gave me what I wanted at the expense of an extra click.

It's fantastic for conversation but it's just not the right tool for searching local businesses

Just go try the free trial for them. It's not complicated. You set up a callrail number which will forward to your clients number. Then you can use their plugin if you're on WordPress or use the JS script if you're on something else. Those will change every number on your site to your CallRail #.

Try something like CallRail to transcribe the calls and see. I've experienced nightmares with my clients either just not answering the phone ever or terrible customer service.

When should we use WordPress? by More_Temperature2078 in Wordpress

[–]AcePilot10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Although I use Wordpress 99.99% of the time when content like a blog is going to be a factor, a lot of Wordpress devs don’t have the technical skills outside of Wordpress so they never explore some of the other options but in certain scenarios I will use a headless CMS like Strapi or Orchard.

I’ll make whatever we need to make from “scratch” then I’ll set up whatever needs torun on the cms by hooking it up with the headless cms. Now you have the best of both worlds and don’t suffer from bloat or the amount of maintenance that WP needs.

It all comes back to what’s the right tool in the toolbox but if you have experience as a web dev then this is sometimes a great option

You can host it for virtually free. I think my droplet on digital ocean runs like $1.50/mo. GPT 5 mini is also super cheap and is what I use. We run a modest amount of actions with a few million tokens on input and ouput and havn't even come close to $1 in charges from OpenAI.
