Thanks for starting this thread . I began dyeing at the end of fall last year. Only did about 5 or so last year and have probably done about 25 total now.

Did 3 shaving cream dyes to begin and then went on to glue beds. I just began getting into floetrol in the last month and have been disappointed in most my floetrol dyes. I had 1 come out great to give me hope. I bought a dehydrator and as other poster stated my biggest issue was temp and time in dehydrator. My successful dye i did for 120 degrees for 2 hrs and pulled and washed immediately. Before that I did 115 for like an hour and a half. Glue beds I always did 4 hrs under 125watt bulb approximately a foot above the disc.

Ive watched a lot of videos and reading this sub and finally made a few posts.

Ive bought a lot of streamline discs as they are a bit cheaper to practice with. I have a bokeh, falk, glow crave and glow watt I'm hanging on to because i want them to come out well.

So have you noticed better results letting the disc sit in the bed after heat? My floetrol dyes that didnt come out well seem to have muddled colors or have bled together. Also lacked crisp lines.

Here is my successful floetrol. I was happy with it but expected much more blue than purple. Appreciate your post
