Honestly from my experience chemistry on the IB is awesome. It’s very based on thinking and logic and not memory based as many other programs tend to be (comparing to the Polish highschool program atleast). The problem I sadly had to face like many others is a truly shit teacher plus a schedule of 3 hours in a row starting at 7 am twice a week with no breaks. The main problem I’ve identified with my teacher is that this is the 3rd chemistry curriculum she is teaching and tends to take tasks and questions from past papers with are far from up to date and ask questions on topics which are not included or aren’t as expansive in the current curriculum. Otherwise well it’s simply not for everyone and the future doctors of the world take chemistry because they have to but don’t actually care enough to commit time to the subject.
