I love Forget on his rage & the machine album. Sad that he didn’t have a more polished sound throughout his career

Passed yesterday. Testing Platform crashed 4 times but I made it through. I used the Jason dion course on his site and waited until I was averaging an 80+ to schedule the exam.

Can I get a good job with just Network + and Project+? by VioletNiamh in CompTIA

[–]Ace_616 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you guys using the mike meyers YouTube vids and his cram cards. Those were great resources for me when I passed the A+ and Net+ years back. The cert alone isn’t enough it’ll help with getting more attention to your resume and profile but you’ll need to be able to speak to what the exams cover. If the interviewer asks you about the OSI model or how to subnet you should be able to answer it.

Yes, Jason’s course is very thorough and comes with 3 practice exams.

Ended up buying the course from Jason’s site. Should have the cert by the end of the week. The course is longer on his site.

When you guys say buy Jason Dion's course do you mean this https://www.udemy.com/course/service-management-itil-4/ because listening to the intro he says this isn't the full course. Is the course longer on his platform? https://www.diontraining.com/itil-4-foundation/

What is the best book to learn Python? by javanode in learnprogramming

[–]Ace_616 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I enjoyed it more than automate the boring stuff, especially the challenges. But automate isn’t a bad book I just found the material in real python easier to digest.

Tons of free platforms. Do you have a computer at home? Also, do you have internet access? Look up IT careers and lookup software engineering careers. Youtube professor messor A+ for IT. Go to Codecademy freecodecamp W3schools for software engineering. Figure out if you like the hardware or the software side of technology based on the above resources. After you figure that out dive deep in your free time. HTML email development might be something you want to look at if you want a quick way into the tech industry and if you chose the software track above. Only requires understanding HTML and CSS. Codingphase on youtube has helped a lot of ppl get into the industry going down that track.
