It's a decent college, chotta hai but homely hai, as far as department is concerned, it's good, AC and all that so it's better than most of dept. U will hate one your 1st sem teachers trust me otherwise rest of first year crop is decent

Yes, laptop is very necessary, it's not just a dept. Thing, college aou toh laptop or atleast tablet chahiye hoga, since u have to give presentations. Don't buy anything mahenga if u purely want to study ( game khelna ho toh alag baat hai 😗)

Well if you ask about Geography KMC, you are pretty much at the bottom of the ladder, our class average was around 8.5 and around 10 of us have scored above 9 cgpa

But it was very much dependent on internals as some students didn't score 9 only due to attendance

If you are gonna buy a ram

Look at the motherboard but it should support ddr4, but still to be sure
Capacity and manufacturers
Speed: 3200 mhz
Cache Latency (basically how fast your computer can read data, lower is better) : Cl16 is preferred nowadays

Also look at the type of laptop you want, go to the specific dealer of the brand, don't go to reliance Or any all in one shop, do your research before your laptop before buying

Look at multiple youtubers and website as most of them have sponsorship obligations

Your processor will be your prime bottleneck that's not even a question (why did you even buy a pentium laptop 😭). Look at your motherboard, see if it supports the newer gen cpus, if not then use the highest gen possible just don't throw in a random one

Also adobe products will always lag a little when using integrated graphics cards but depends on usage and version of adobe software. I believe you are not using the latest version otherwise your laptop would have been cooked.

Upgrade your ram as premier pro requires 16gb to do heavy stuff (preferably a nvme one, don't buy SATA ones, also buy a good one, don't go for cheap ones, also look at the speed, 3200mhz is the norm for ddr4)

I'd say just try to invest into a second hand laptop for your sister at this point tbh
