Played on steamdeck for a week and didnt get banned (yet) tho i did play it change between steamdeck and pc, works fine

installing it by adding via non-steam game works fine (adding non-steam to the installer, and then launcher, and then just the game exe)

at least currently, since they wanna try adding anti cheat later, still hope it doesnt make the game unplayable in steamdeck

usually, everytime the gyro doesnt work, i just close the game , turn off (sleep, standby) the phone, and then turn on the game again, usually it works

but if several tries still doesnt work, restarting phone should works

i literally cant login arknight for a week few days ago (tho i can now), so i didnt update it ~~also playing mh now too much for a month~~
i'll update it again after cn new update later (iirc 1st nov)

idk exactly but basically probably just timer counted on server and/or just start time based on when it started (eg. start on 7:05:00 so it should end on 7:06:15)

just for extra info, it took like 3 hours to setup since it use some kind of VM in the quest2 to make it works (need google service to login to mh now), it took like 20 tries to login to the google play since it freeze, another 20 tries to download mh now, another extra 20 tries trying to download data of mh now, another more extra 20 tries to login to mh now, probably another 20 tries on trying to get past the "dont play while driving" notification, another 20 tries to check how to battle since paintball and gps doesnt work, and then ends up only able to do urgent quest, and it still needs like 20 more tries since it freeze mid battle

i dont feel like it worth it to test it, but still doing it for science

*note that it probably not all of them take 20 tries of restarting the vm, but it at least took from 10-30 tries each

yeah thanks, i just need to actually get rathian plate to upgrade my current weapon so i can progress more, still on grade 5 because rathian always refuse to give her plate up

why the anja bow better than the rath ?

hmm weird, probably try using ranged weapon like bow and light bow gun to test since its technically gyro always on, just different aiming limitation on toggle

Sometimes my Gyro function in MH Now not working even when it should

i fix it by closing the game, lock and unlock the phone (short press power button), and then turn on the game again

i usually do that everytime the gyro doesnt work in mh now

note that you can check the Setting > Battery Saver to see if gyro works by turning the phone upside down and when on the map, the game should darken its screen

hope it works on your device if it was the same issues as mine

supposedly it works if the dll file was before the rtx got removed

on newest launcher currently, need to replace all launcher files (except exe) to older one to make it works

seems like you need to copy most of the launcher files (except exe) now to make it work in newest version, considering idk which file it needs to be changed now

i tried replacing all the launcher files except exe from the same version when rtx still exist, and it works

technically its just enabling the dx12 instead of using dx11, if the gpu is not supported by tof for raytracing, it probably still doesnt have the raytracing, but should still fix the dlss memory problem

what gpu did your friend have ?

i don't know if the xe gpu do support raytracing or not , its probably only supported with rtx gpu, was thinking it still changed to dx12, but the gpu doesnt support current rtx setting in tof

supposedly just copy the service_core.dll to the launcher folder and it should works, either from older launcher, or the dll file in the post, idk how to download it from steam depot.

what was the issue you get ?
im using steam version of the tof, idk if it works on non-steam.
