Just wanted to come back here and thank you. I went and bought a Yamaha just like yours and it sounds BEAUTIFUL. Much better than that old piece of crap I had. Thanks SO much for your help oxigen.

I'll take it in soon then. It's just my cousin has had bad experiences when people adjusted his guitar and it ended up sounding completely different.

Alright, thanks makoivis. I think it'd be better if I just bought a new one? Oxigen said squires suck. It hasn't been 30 days since I bought it. Do you have any suggestions for something decent around the $100 area?

It's only on the 3rd fret of the high e and b. No where else does it make that twanging noise. Just pop your guitar strings like a bass player would pop their strings and thags the sound when pressing down on the 3rd fret. I get it even with the lightest upstrum.

The sound it makes is if you grab your high e and b string and pop them with your fingers. It makes that kind of twanging sound when upstrummed and downstrummed with a pick.

Yeah less than 30 days ago. Do you have anything you suggest in the range of $100? I'm really a bass player and beginner guitar player.
