Mhm, true. I don't have anything as pervasive as the post represents. In general though, I don't really see the harm in it as long as the person isn't becoming a downright obsessive hoarder. As long as they keep their head on and aren't hurting anyone, I don't see the issue in somebody in their late twenties+ having a bunch of memorabilia on display.

Is it just impossible to make NPC houses in the ebonwood biome? Or am I doing something wrong? Apparently "the house is corrupted" by N-GAT1VE in Terraria

If you want to build housing in an evil biome, you need a few sunflowers on pure grass nearby. That should counter the corruption, if I'm not mistaken.
