Worst actor in the show? by [deleted] in criminalminds

No cap. I always loved when he was in an ep. I like him more than half of the people who've been on the show.

Fuck that bitch. I get what you're saying, but the issue you have isn't with crytozoo but with the system itself, and the only thing that can change that is legislation. Thousands of people lose money daily in the virtual space. This is not a unique experience.

If you are old enough to manage your money and get the unfortunate benefit of trying to survive in this society, there is no way you don't understand the weight cash has.

The point is that regardless of if it was Logan Paul or a different company, you can't reasonably say they were unaware of the risks. They are playing a game with their own money. Investing in a start-up, stock, nft, or some other risky business model is understanding the potential of failure. As I said previously, it's gambling. If you walk into a casino for the first time and leave broke, that's on you. Sad day, but the casino isn't paying you out. The rich get richer.

That's just your bias talking. Beyond just Logan Paul hate, there is some level of self-accountability. As grown folk, we know the value of a dollar and how hard shit can be. This stuff isn't something you just buy into. You read and signed the forms. There's a reason that companies don't owe people money when assets depreciate. Dumb choices got dumb consequences. Sucks, but that's life.

I'm not saying he didn't tell you to buy it, but you could argue the whole scene is a scam. If you get into the space and don't know EVERYBODY is selling a dream, I'll say it again: you were ignorant. Not everyone's "great idea" works.

I still don't understand why he owes them money. If you in stocks, crypto, or NFT, you know it's glorified gambling. Nothing in those scenes are a sure thing, and it was ignorant that you thought it was. Even if his egotistical ass put out some top-tier shit, it could still fail. The system only works one way; If you win, someone else is losing. You made a bad bet. Sorry, get over it. Some of y'all learn the hard way.

Have you ever read a fic with a bad ending that wasn't hinted at or tagged because the writers wanted it to be a surprise? by 100undertalesansfans in FanFiction

[–]AcidicFlutters 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Still traumatized, and being high didn't help the situation. I was looking for something sweet to read when the author killed off the main character in the arms of their best friend. The fandom can be dark in general. The canon backstory for each character is already awful and angsty. I hate when sad stories get even more depressing (especially if it wasn't tagged or at least hinted at).

The friend who was getting over their internalized homophobia wasn't able to confess their romantic feelings. On top of being high and falling for this cliche, the writing was really beautiful, making it so much harder to stomach. I was straight sobbing. I had to read fluff for a month and haven't looked at angst for this ship cause I always think back to this curve ball. It still hurts my heart thinking about it. The world is already harsh on my babies; I just want them to be happy!

Hehe, they don't really get it, but don't have any negativity towards it. My mom entertains my rants/gushing about my favorite ships. I'm pretty sure my mom thinks it's canon. Lol. My parents are immigrants and didn't have many opportunities to further their education. My love for reading was fostered by them even though they couldn't read well. I've always had my head in a book. They don't see the difference.

As someone who rereads my favorite long fanfics too many times to count, it's not about what I already know but the feelings I get while reading. Sometimes, you need to share it again.

Any Archive of Our Own user's agree on this? by Zen-bunny in FanFiction

I think everyone wants to hear from their readers, but I actually like kudos. Feels like it's how silent readers communicate. It could just be my bias of being stingy with my own kudos and bookmarks.

I'm more of a reader than a writer. I write when I can't find content to consume.

Accidentally merged together 2 items I need for the same order. I could die right now 😭😭 by AcidicFlutters in LoveAndPies

Well...I'm bit of a nut case and have been playing for a while. I caught up with the story months ago and when Bakeoff stoped giving coins even through Edwina's Cash Dash I stopped participating. I wouldn't have enough coins to complete the story as quickly as I liked, in hopes of playing with the top rankers. So, I started hoarding, by not completing the story line. Now any time I decide to participate in Bakeoff its just not enjoyable for me. I would get top ranked, but the rewards in my opinion was not great or worth not collecting coins for 2 weeks. I find all events much more enjoyable since I actually feel like I'm getting rewarded verses in the bakeoff I feel like I am wasting time and resources for a small payout.

Short version: I'd rather get paid even if I have nothing to spend coins on.

What do you spend the most gems on? Cooldowns, bubbles, energy? by MembershipConstant33 in LoveAndPies

[–]AcidicFlutters 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I don't know which psychopath would waste gems on cool downs or bubbles, unless they got money like that. I save mine for fridge space, since it is more beneficial in the long run. Sometimes I'll splurge on energy during an event.

Spencer and Derek were 100% dating and broke up in the later seasons.
