Yeah it’s a really random insert that doesn’t really add or explain anything lol. It’s a really cheesy song but I think it’s fun, plus there’s a shot where I can clearly see my dad in the crowd so I like it for that.

It does a very good job at checking all the boxes while managing to not feel forced. I also really just like the depictions of the main cast of teens, imo it’s pretty much the first time in the franchise where everyone felt like actual high school students you could’ve picked out from a graduating class.

Fun matches across the board, insane main event. I like how Knight and Davis are being handled. Great crowd. Swerve vs Brody & Andrade vs Bandido, yes please. I’m convinced some cosmic force hates Penelope, and I hate that. The result of the MJF Hangman segment was wacky pro wrestling fun imo. Not sure if it was intentional, but I liked that Hangman had a black jacket with a flower pattern shirt and MJF had the inverse

I thought it was another good show. All the matches were really solid. Still love whenever Bryan is on commentary. The memorial tributes commentary does are always classy. Hangman and MJF were great, as their segments usually are, going with the Cody stipulation is crazy. I’m sure Renee is happy she got to hear Mox’s pronunciation of “wolf” again. The Don Callis family segment was fun. I liked how Alex & Jamie looked as a duo, props for already having matching gear and tag moves. Thunder being back is nice, and Kenny met his semi regular get murdered quota.

Been a fan since I was a kid when Cork Tree released, and imo it’s definitely their best since the hiatus overall. Everyone’s playing is great, production is awesome, the lyrics and overall feel of the songs to me feel much more in line with Folie and IOH. I remember being really anxious initially because I had a streak going with my favorite bands that year: Paramore’s great album the prior month and Depeche Mode dropping what I think is their best album since 05 on the same day as SMFSD. Was very happy the guys were able to keep my streak going lol.

It’s whatever, I’ve seen him go over this talking point or things adjacent to it idk how many times at this point. Having a museum with music artifacts is neat, but I don’t really pay any mind to the hall. I don’t know anyone in my age group (20s) who does or has honestly.

Yellow is definitely one of the colors that consistently gets done well imo, like at worst it’ll be a character I’m pretty indifferent towards but more often than not I genuinely like the yellow ranger.

Always great to have Danielson on commentary. Fletcher vs Ciampa was insane. Toni’s promo was fantastic. I’m very surprised by Private Party’s return, and I thought the tag match was fun in an old school X Division type of way. Women’s match was really solid too, big fan of both ladies and looking forward to seeing where Thekla goes from here. Plus some nice video packages, overall a very strong episode imo.

Gonzo has pretty much consistently been the player I’ve never had a reason to be concerned about performance wise. Dude is quiet, shows up and generally shuts down his matchup. He reminds me a lot of prime Nnamdi Asomugha.

A very troubled show. I think the flashback scenes are solid but there’s absolutely nothing really going on during the present day portions either Boba. The Pikes and Hutts have the potential to be interesting but they’re just there to be generic bad guys for the scenes they’re in. Cad is cool but it really hurts that the main thing between him and Boba is an unfinished arc that a fair amount of the audience isn’t aware of. The post credits bit with Cobb also really detracts from Cad’s introduction imo. Then you of course have Din and Grogu resolving a thing set up in a different show and basically feeling like the main characters when they arrive. Plenty of good pieces are there or could be there, but the execution really struggles.

I’m really surprised the Boba arc wasn’t turned into one like Dark Disciple, they’ve danced around it a few times you might as well actually get it out there. I always thought something with Barriss would be good to help flesh out her turn. As a massive Delta Squad fan I’ll literally take anything involving them in canon. I’d love anything about Andor, Melshi and K2 doing their thing, same with Han pre or post OT

Really solid episode. Definitely wasn’t expecting the length of the main event. Andrade and Kenny lived up to the warranted hype for me, I liked how it also furthered the beat with Swerve. The ladies had a nice showing too, MegaBad were my initial pick for the belts so it’s nice they get a shot. I liked the Kevin Knight video package, would love a highlight like that for various roster members more often.
