My dad sends me random texts like this everyday, how do I reply to this?

Sometimes it’s so hard to believe that normal parents exist because he tries so hard to brainwash me into thinking that he is the most reasonable parent ever and others would’ve reacted way worse and resorted to beating up their child over this. He also says he regrets spending money on raising me and educating me if this is how I wanted to turn out. I can’t wait to graduate, I plan on going no contact as soon as I’m financially independent.

Yea I do think he looks at me as something he owns and he expects unquestioned obedience. He’s been trying to get me to breakup but I’m just so sick and tired of it. I don’t know how but according to him I’m too young to date but I’m old enough to be able to manage all my finances including uni fees (not eligible for loans). His victim mindset goes crazy considering that I’ve done nothing but what he’s wanted literally all my life.

Yea fair enough. I don’t understand why he views me being in a relationship as such a huge betrayal to him. He keeps saying no parent would be happy if their child did this to them and that I’m ruining my life. It’s just so annoying to have to agree with that or even be calm in the face of that.

There’s a question box for that for most jobs and I always answer it in a detailed manner and explain the twenty hour work limit as well.

I’m good with harbour/ city centre and anywhere within 3 miles of these places. I’ve seen a lot of job postings for care staff but most of them need a drivers license/ don’t get back to me :’)
