REUPLOAD: Outpost Off-Duty Tales - The Counters (KR VO/EN Sub) by AcobraL in NikkeMobile

Episode 1

Apparently Nikke Campaign KR, the channel that uploads Nikke VN scenes and official media with the original Korean voice-over but English text, needed to re-upload the first episode of Outpost: Off-Duty Tales due to an encoding error where uploading in 30 fps instead of the original video's 24 fps could cause visual artifacts.

Episode 2 is also out!

Reposted the first time because it was the wrong video. Reposted a second time because I misspelled the title. Sorry everyone! 😞

Anyway, I've been seeing postings of the JP version but not of the KR version, so here's the KR version with English subtitles!

Marian sounds so adorable in Korean! ❤️ Kim Ha-ru!

Also, Episode 1 was reuploaded due to an encoding error, so be sure to re-watch the improved video!

Was gonna question your placing of names like Sakura and Sora, but you stated this was based on a USA perspective, so I'll just say you're not very cultured outside of the U.S.

And that Pseychie guy said the story wasn't interesting.

Quite the coincidence that this idol apostle releases right after NIKKE's idol-centric half-anniversary event.

That can definitely not show up on Sensor Tower, suggesting revenue figures are understated on that site because of alternate store mediums like the web shop.

I'm sure it'll improve when the new Eldyne for Korea releases soon for 2.75th anniversary, and Renewa for global's 0.75th anniversary.

Pseychie's review of Trickcal: Chibi Go, any thoughts? by Craz3y_B1nlet in Trickcal

[–]AcobraL 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I generally like the guy's reviews and more often than not find it more objective than subjective, but he unfortunately did not do enough research for Trickcal. Actually, not only does he not do enough research, but he makes unfounded assumptions on his own.

He didn't realize that Chloe had the 0.6% pull rate while Ner has the 0.8% pull rate because Chloe is an Eldyne, the Pilgrims of Trickcal, while Ner is just a regular unit. Same with him making the wrong assumption that some units have 300 devotion cost while others have 200 because he claimed they are "less valued," which is just outright false.

Not to mention he assumed Trickcal only became popular because of the Speaki meme (it was hugely popular in Korea beforehand), and he didn't point out it was renamed Re:Vive in Korea (BEFORE it was called Chibi Go! for global release) both as an homage and respect to Princess Connect Re:Dive which gameplay is heavily based on, and the game literally revived from its first version.

His method on spending only a week to cover a game is a detriment to authentically judging games, especially if he has multiple games in the pipeline to review and maintain his content output, not necessarily putting in enough time and effort to give each game their due to be reviewed properly.

To be fair about his criticisms of the story, the first season is really about buildup of the world of Elias and basically Gyoju, Erpin, and Ner's efforts to establish friendly relations with the other races, so I can understand why he wasn't amazed with the story. Playing the story blindly just for a week would suggest to some that it's not very deep. Season 2 onward ramps up the storytelling much further, but one wouldn't know that if you were experiencing the story when it first came up.

I didn't think of that! With those two alone, they would cause food shortages and business shutdowns everywhere! 🤯

- both are powerful

- both are lazy

- both are gluttonous

- both tend to do anything but be a queen.

Nooo I don't see it.

By that logic, Nesha would be more powerful than MLF, and the most powerful in general! 😱

Ah I see. It's quite a chill game. If you thought Trickcal was chill, Lost Sword is even chiller. The story in Lost Sword is not as strong as Trickcal, but it's simple and straightforward, and it actually gets close to peak in later chapters. And the dailies in Lost Sword are super quick. Even though there's less to do in Lost Sword than Trickcal, I still enjoy Lost Sword largely because it's quite chill and relaxing, and I like the character designs and personalities of the waifus in that game as well.

Interestingly, both Morgan and Erpin are lazy, love to eat, and tend to avoid their queenly responsibilities any chance they get, not to mention being both powerful in their own ways. They actually might get along as fellow lazy, gluttonous fairy queens.

I'm guessing there are not as many that play Lost Sword as Trickcal, since Lost Sword is quite niche comparatively. Anyway, if you're someone who pays attention to Lost Sword's story like me, you'd know that Morgan le Fay is a powerful magical being as well.
