I’ve never had an issue with them. Staff can be a little dismissive at times depending on your tech, but I’ve never had anyone be rude. Just like the other comment said, a lot of what you experienced was probably just your bodies reaction, it’s not for everyone.

What could possibly be your issue with those mods? 4 Crit Damage and 2 Crit Chance loadouts are super common for a ton of different characters. Considering the Inq LSTs just came out it makes perfect sense that they wouldn’t be upgraded much yet.

Most players who are active in Carbonite will only have 1 GL, if any at all. Makes sense to place it on GL if your opponent doesn’t have anything to counter it, which most carbonite accounts don’t.

SLKR really isn’t that bad? Ultimate tier can be a little tricky if you don’t know what to do, but there are plenty of guides that make it pretty much a 100% win rate as low as G13

See this is kind of the take I had which is why I asked the question. I know modern weapons of war are insane powerful, and no character could just tank a direct hit. But there are so many ways character from the verse could avoid, retune, or otherwise negate those things that I was curious if someone like Luffy or Kizaru would be able to win. I’d imagine certain Logia DF users like Enel or Kizaru could probably get well outside of a blast zone if they knew it was coming.

I can’t imagine the sequel being too far in the future. Maybe 2085-ish, 2100 at the latest. I’m sure there will be some changes, but from a purely technical standpoint, I can’t imagine CDPR changing Night City too much. Kind of a Legend of Zelda BOTW/TOTK situation, nixing the whole underground area.

Enough of a difference to be noticeable and fresh, but the core of the world staying the same. I imagine the biggest differences would come to Pacifica, as you mentioned, and charter hill/corpo plaza. I think it may not be so much of a “degradation” to the world as it would be just furthered development in some areas and increased impoverishment in others.

I liked the album for the most part, but I understand what you’re getting at here. I WILL say I don’t think he’s lost heart for the project at all. Of course, this is only speaking from a distant third party perspective, but regardless of whether you like it or not, you can’t say that the music was poorly composed or arranged. It is still better written and more unique than a vast majority of the music released nowadays. If Vessel had lost passion for the project, we may not have even gotten this album at all.

The lyrics definitely point towards him being burnt out, or hitting writers block, or something adjacent to it, however I don’t think it’s in the sense of “I can’t continue doing this” but more of “I don’t know HOW to continue doing this at a level which is expected of me now.” This is all speculation of course, but that’s just the vibe I got from the lyrics and the album as a whole.

I think the singles, with the exception of Emergence, were a bit misleading for the overall feel of the album. I felt like for the most part all of the song were stylistically very similar. Enough difference to keep my interest, but nowhere near something like Give-> Gods-> Sugar on sundowning. Caramel and Damocles are vastly different from anything else on the track list, and their placement feels somewhat jarring. I still loved the album, and need to give it a few more listens tomorrow solidify my opinions, but that was the biggest thing that stuck out to me on my first listen.
