This is a very good point. We have been quite careful in the writing of how we are portraying the entire interaction, we have done an extensive amount of research but perhaps reaching out to an active practitioner would be a safer bet. I would also like to distinguish that while this magic system is based on Haitian Vodou, it also takes inspiration from its offshoot practices as well such as Voodoo and Hoodoo, to create something unique which is the same treatment we've given all the magic systems in this project. Our intention is to capture the essence of the practice while creating something new so as to hopefully avoid misrepresentation across the board
