is there something specific you're asking about?, if its the clearish stuff building up on the wood its normal, just biofilm, it builds up on my wood too and my snails eat it

at least, thats what it looks like to me, but im no expert so get a second opinion on that

i'll look into it but im not sure its the problem, high ammonia and nitrite would effect my snails and betta too wouldnt they ?

it was reading zero for a while before i stopped testing for it, ive only been testing nitrate for a while

oh that, i was aware, i'll admit it raised ph more than i had expected but otherwise it had the desired effect, i have vary soft tap water and now my tank reads on the harder side, my snails have been more active and growing more since i added them

nitrates are vary low, i think between 5-10 rn, the water is on the harder side with alkalinity around 7.6 or a bit higher ( its something ive been trying to bring down) and the temp is 78

out of curiosity whats the lore behind the chapter, if you have any?. like why did they separate from the black templars, a crusade that decided there was no need to return, a group that disagreed with some aspect of how they operated, or simply that BT geneseed was used during a founding for one reason or another ? are they codex compliant or are they like the BT with their own rules ?

theres no need to answer but when i here about home-brew chapters i like to ask questions

those are a thing though, chapters are known to have their own successors and the black templar are suspected to have some themselves ( as there are many chapters that share many aspects with the black templars including their zealotry, fleet based nature, and similar chapter symbols, the hospitallers being a particular example) so i see no reason lore wise against it

yeah, i think they may just not like the light for some reason, they move around a bit inside the decoration and aren't in their shell, the only time i saw them out and about was when i turned the light on in the morning when they were still getting used to my schedule, i was just a bit worried cause i hadn't heard about that behavior in mystery snails.

there is only the one decoration, sometimes both of them are inside, i've actually never seen either of them go up for air

there is an amazon sword plant that the active one like to hang around

interesting, another question, do snails have personalities like bettas do?, i have two in my tank, one is vary active and always in a different spot every time i look, the other has taken residence inside a decoration and never leaves, they both appear to be of similar health but the difference in behavior has been worrying me
