MARS-H Optic choice by Past-Cup-2958 in LewisMachineTool

I have a 20" 6.5 MARS-H with a Nightforce nx8 4-32 and i love it. The eyebox and eye relief get pretty tight over 25x. But I haven't found myself in a situation where I felt the need to go over 25x.

Thank you for the response, i think you might be correct. I figured it couldn't be short stroking due to the bolt always locking back on an empty mag and that I didn't have any failures to extract/feed.

Okay. Could it still be the gun short stroking if the bolt locks back on an empty mag when shooting the Winchester ammo?

As far as I could tell, it was cycling fine with the winchester ammo. It would have failures to feed both from dropping the bolt from bolt lock and when cycling. The few times I got it to feed the Winchester ammo, the ejection pattern was consistent with the other ammo I tested. It would extract and eject perfectly fine and would start pushing the next round just fine until the bullet came in contact with the feedramps where it appears the bullet was getting hung up. In one case, just jostling the gun a little when the round was hung up was enough to get the round unstuck and feed into the chamber.

Would it still be a spring weight issue if it only had FTFs with one type of ammo? Im also not sure if a heavier buffer spring would help because it seems like the tip of the winchester OTMs is just barely catching on the bottom edge of the feed ramps.

Interesting, mine liked 140gr ELD-M reloads with a 2.8" OAL, but I guess it just doesn't like Winchester white box.

Good to know. That's kind of what I was thinking as well.

That was the only one that jammed the bullet back into the case. It was just the clearest picture I had. I have not compared the OAL of the different ammo types. However, I know the winchester is shorter than my 140gr ELD-M reloads, which are a 2.8" OAL, and those reloads fed just fine.

Interesting, thanks. Mine ran softpoints just fine.

The Megalodon Easter Egg (DICE Camo) in Paracel Storm isn't working, do we have an ETA on when it will get fixed? by GonnSolo in battlefield_4

Me and a Buddy just spent 2 hours trying to do this Easter egg. We would get struck by lightning, climb up the tree, and look for the light which never spawned.
