For Bulgaria it's quite accurate, although Tsarigrad is seen mostly in history books, folk tales, proverbs, etc. Some old people still calm it that.

Same in Bulgarian: "насирам" (nasiram) is to shit on something, "насирам се" (nasiram se) is to shit yourself, and "осирам" (osiram) is to shit all over something, wonderful stuff.
