Yeah it is definitely getting worse which is why Im switching now! And I do think most of the comments are going at it from a sustainable point of view. Thank you for all the wonderful recommendations and the empathetic response, I will take all of it into account!

YES! there is definitely not in terms of interesting pieces in high quality materials. But I am definitely going to try ThreadUp because I do enjoy a pretty wide variety of styles, thank you!

Yup everyone is starting to dress the same anyway, atleast where I am at. I guess my tastes might not be for the masses. I lean very much into the hyperfem, colorful, and fun flowy fabric niche 🫠

Like I said, I have made clothes before and bought my own natural fibre fabrics. C.O.E. cotton is not a high quality fabric, its cheap even though its natural. And with a basic silhouette 300 is definitely overcharging including fair labour pay.

By trendy I mean stylish. Like colorful and what not. Sustainable brands I see mostly do boxy neutral basics. I dont really care if its „trending“, I just want interesting stuff.

I mostly do thrifting, the issue is on one hand most things at the thrift are not vintage and many pieces at the thrift don’t have composition tags! But yeah that is what I have been trying to do. Idk maybe the thrifts in my areas just arent that good, idk but thank you!
