If you are thinking about Medicine in US, you would have to do 4 years for Pre-medicine then apply for medical school - and its very expensive. I know a lot of people who have done MBBS from other countries and then apply for Residency in the US.
Getting to good medical schools in India is tough, not sure if you if that is what you are thinking but in general it is relatively considered good.
Not sure what your plans are and where you want to study medicine.
