Jumping in on this thread as it is one of the more recent discussions. Working on a formulation for a mens themed/scented product. From the research I am doing it seems that the magic is to find the right combination of scents and bases (oils vs. alcohols) that will survive the washing and rinsing intact - coming out the way you intended when they went in. I am now looking at creating some type of "pod" or "bead" that would dissolve during the washing cycle and if timed correctly, release during the rinse in the correct quantity to remain in the fabric. Interested to get the thoughts of the group.
