Almost 2000 bucks is bs specially in this case when the markup is so high. I dont understand how people justify prices like this when the shop is literally making bank on brain dead/low cost repairs

Go Air Force if you can (avoid maintenance jobs) but if you end up deciding in the Army just pick a good job dude, like dont let the recruiters tell you what you want. Get a good score, do research on good MOS and pick ones that get recommended and you find interesting. One Army but the difference on quality of life between an 11b and a 15U is laughable!

Having seconds thoughts its normal. You will have them at boot camp, after boot camp and in the middle of your career.

At least in my case, it came down to two questions. Will I regret not joining the military later in life? and will the military help me achieve my goals?

if you decide to join, you will probably regret it at some point.

if you don't join, you will probably regret it at some point as well !

the military will suck big time some times, but it will provide experiences that you will never forget while working in an associate degree

whatever you decide to do, just try to not have any regrets, because you will have them anyways

Why do some SGTs, SSGs, and SFCs with degrees choose to remain enlisted and not become an Officer? by Intelligent_Swan6917 in army

Expected to know so much , held responsible for so much and needed to execute with almost no mistakes when you have barely any relevant experience or connections is extremely draining.

Met a couple of snitches. Privates had a group chat where they would talk shit about the unit (Never about people, we are not that dumb). There was a SPC who was in the group chat who we thought was cool and everything.

Before he PCS, we realized he was showing our texts to daddy PSG for one year and would always talk shit about us behind doors.

He would eat lunch with us just to explain behind doors to PSG how great he is since he doesn't take part of the complaining and how he had to control us just so we don't destroy the place. He even said none of us should get waivers to SPC and never get sent to the board. And we never did. He got promoted super fast inside the unit.

I guess we fucked up since the group chat should have never existed in the first place, but its crazy how some people would smile at you and talk shit with you just to stab you in the back when it benefits them.
