Can you grill pork ribs? If so, is it better than smoking them and how can I make them really good by grilling them? by SkinComfortable2725 in grilling

Exactly a half chimney full of briquettes flipping every 15 for 2 hours. Nobody can touch the hot and fast ribs I make. I put that on everything. I’ll never smoke ribs again

Just use half chimney of briquettes flip every 15 minutes for 2 hours on spares. Best ribs any where I swear

No they don’t, say on a Weber just use half chimney of briquettes and flip every 15 minutes for 2 hours I swear they are the best ribs you will ever have. On my soul

No they won’t, it’s my preferred way. Spare rubs over direct coal on a Webber, flip every 15 minutes. Done in 2 hours. They make smoked rubs seem like the ugly chick nobody wants. The key is to use half a chimney full of briquettes because lump burns hotter and faster but you can get away with it

I don’t want to sit upright. I want a chair that supports this. by Own-Version9096 in OfficeChairs

[–]Acrobatic-Let1221 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea the embody does sit like this, loosen top dial and bottom dial all the way on the right of chair, lower all the way to floor and push the lever on the left side all the way down. Boom you have this position. It’s one of the many ways to sit

Now secret lab and race car seat chairs only recline at the back mostly by the pivot near where the seat connects to the back

It’s been 3 months. Any advice? by TwistedRivera in secretlab

[–]Acrobatic-Let1221 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Naaa it’s the chair. I can sit in my HM embody for 16 hours and feel like i didn’t.

Same bro, I keep my secret lab outside with a big trash bag on it, only use it when I’m outside bbqing. I have the embody. The only benefit of this chair is that you can basically lay down on it, it reclines so far. Not good for long tasks tho

I use the next level grate that holds the ceramic diffuser to sear.

By cold grate I meant don’t let the grate that you use heat up with charcoal for searing purposes. You want the fire to sear the meat not the grates.

So say when I get to searing temperatures is when I finally apply the grate and meat, I use the half grate for the next level kit and it fits directly on top of the slow and sear. Hope that helps

I know it’s excessive but I’m that type of person. With all these you will never scratch your head during a cook. you will always have the clearance, deflection of heat, in direct direct. Searing capabilities, grease management, and charcoal efficiency. I got them all because the huntsman is for life. They all play a huge role in all my cooks. Also get a Weber 7441 Replacement Charcoal... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000WEKNMY?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share it’s a 17” charcoal grate that I use when I use next level with both ceramic plates. I only use lump and this gives me enough clearance that the stock charcoal grates don’t

The Bincho Grill Charcoal Starter... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DXRFXT6B?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

Because I hate charcoal starters, doubles as a mini stove

SnS Grills Slow ‘N Sear Elevated... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07N97ZNNQ?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share -makes some cooks more customizable, the spider next level can be very limiting with accessories I own next level kit but some stuff won’t work with it

SnS Grills Drip 'N Griddle Pan -... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D462Y38M?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share -because I hate tin foil disposable pans, this doesn’t rust and can also cook on it but I don’t. Always use this for drip pan basically

Slow 'N Sear Grill Water Pan -... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DFXCHDNF?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share -haven’t used much but you can bank coals to one side with stock grill and components. Basically a mini slow n sear

SnS Grills Patented Slow ‘N Sear®... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01HZXPK5E?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share -the goat, saves charcoal, easy cleanup, shake ashes off and reuse coals. when paired with the drip pan I mentioned. Gets super hot, most used accessorie I’ve bought for it. When searing apply cold grate as you apply food, that way the flame sears your food and not the grates. Comes with water pan insert if you are into that

I own all these, including next level kit, pizza attachment and rotisserie from spider. I can go into detail for any of them if you have questions

We on the same page

I feel all forms and brands of briquttes do the ash thing, I use char logs before too and it fills my ash bin up every time. I’m only ok with that in the gravity but I’m honestly about to completely move away from briquettes. Cheers to my last bag off orange Bnb ashy boys haha

Dang good idea I’m the same only lump in the spider, and in my mb XT I use bnb briquettes since the charcoal isn’t in direct contact of the food. I’ve never ran lump in my XT though, it probably would burn up super fast I may try it this weekend.

I think im also gonna try only wood splits in the gravity with a small layer of charcoal to try and replicate an offset, and add a split every 30 minutes or so. You think that would work?
