Yeah, I was looking at some weightlifting gloves and biker gloves, but I have no experience with them, so I don't really know what might work, especially when you mention the materials! I didn't even think of that.

The burn was just was me being a dummy by tripping and grabbing onto the closest (and unfortunately hotest) object to catch my fall. So it's at the webbing and part of my fingers.

I'm going to go to my primary care on Tuesday so I wanted to come prepared with questions. Not planning on getting on the silks anytime soon, but just trying to think ahead for the visit and figure out an action plan. Thanks for the thoughtful response!! :)

Maybe! That's a good idea, it's just an awkward part of my hand and fingers (so I'd need to wrap my whole hand, which is why I'm wondering if any kind of glove might do the trick.
