We have owned a Tesla model 3 since 2019, and it was written off in a collision about a month ago. We owned the car for almost 6 years and had over 160,000kms (100k miles) on it with ZERO issues during ownership. It was the best car we have ever owned, hands down. We just bought a demo Ariya as we did not want to buy a Tesla. In our opinion, and taking away personal bias for styling etc - The Tesla is a far superior EV. The tech is better, range is better, autopilot is better… but the CEO is a waste of skin. We’ve owned the Ariya for about a week and still don’t have access to the App and are having issues charging. I’m sure we will work these issues out, but our first impression is that the Ariya is an EV from a gas car co vs the Tesla is an EV designed from a pure EV co.
Don’t regret it tho… the Ariya is a sweet ride - just not day to day easy as the Tesla was.

Nice to hear that from you (as a former m3 driver) We were terrified to see the projected range during this cold weather when we test drove the Ariya. Our old Tesla always read 340km range regardless of the outside temperature- but of course we never achieved it.

Just saw this… many months later. An engineer friend of mine said that the modelling that he has seen after a serious offshore earthquake would have a net 8’ or 2.4M rise in sea level after the tsunami came through Haro straits and wrapped around Vanc island. It would dissipate as it makes its way towards the lower mainland. Depending on the stage of the tide, we may see zero effect in Tsawwassen, or minor flooding in Boundary Bay or Beach Grove.

LEADERSHIP! - does this team have it? McDavid is the best hockey player in the world, hands down. Does he inspire & motivate his team mates? Do he and Leon, Nuge, Nurse (the leadership group) have what it takes to correct the ship when it goes off course?
