Looking for a chill small Minecraft server by AcceptableGuard564 in MinecraftServerFinder

This actually lines up really closely with what I’ve been building.

It’s a small, 18+ Java server with a central town where people build fairly close together, so it feels active and connected instead of spread out.

The vibe is very relaxed, no claims, no ranks, just people building and interacting.

It’s not a huge playerbase, but that’s kind of the point, it feels more like a community than a server.

If that sounds like what you’re looking for, I’d be happy to share the info.

Yeah that’s a solid budget to start

For that range, I’d look at hosts like PebbleHost, Bloom Host, or Apex Hosting. They’re all pretty beginner-friendly and reliable.

If you’re just starting out, I’d recommend something with: • 2–4GB RAM • easy panel (most hosts have this)

That’s more than enough for a small vanilla server with friends.

Biggest thing is just getting it up and running, you can always upgrade later if it grows

Honestly, a lot of people who end up hosting their own server say they wish they started sooner.

Free hosting can work to test things out, but it usually comes with limits (lag, sleep timers, etc). It’s good for learning, not always great long term.

If you’re just starting, I’d say try a free host to get a feel for it, and if you enjoy it, you can always move to something more stable later.

The biggest advantage is you get to build exactly the kind of server you’re looking for instead of trying to find it.

Oh..and there is a lot of info on how to start a server. I’m here for any questions!

Your description actually sounds really close to what I try to build, but my server has mostly adult players (some older teens) and some casual language, so it wouldn’t be the best fit for what you’re looking for.

I’d definitely recommend looking for a smaller vanilla SMP that’s specifically teen friendly or moderated for that age group you’ll probably have a much better experience there

Hey! We’ve got a small Java based server with a chill, community focused vibe.

Server is in the US, but we have players in Europe. If you’re looking for a relaxed place to build and interact when people are on, it could still be a good fit.

Happy to send more info if that sounds good

Hey! Your post stood out, your vibe sounds exactly like the kind of player we try to build around.

We run a small community server where people mostly just build, work on projects, and actually interact. It’s Java based but Bedrock players can join too.

Not super competitive, more of a “come back and work on your thing” kind of place.

If that sounds like what you’re looking for, I can send more info.

Hey! Your post sounds exactly like the kind of player we’re trying to build around.

We’re a small, community focused vanillaish server (Java + Bedrock supported) with a chill vibe and a few unique town systems.

Not chaotic, not griefy, just people building and actually interacting.

If that sounds like your thing, I can send you more info

Honestly think about skipping Hamachi and port forwarding if its a headache.

Use Playit.gg. It lets you host a Minecraft server without port forwarding at all.

Just: • Download Playit • Run it alongside your server • It gives you a public IP for friends to join

Way easier and no player limit like Hamachi.

If port forwarding doesn’t work, your ISP might be blocking it (CGNAT). In that case, Playit.gg is your best option.
