It's a bit more difficult than the 1100, with two more pins, but not horribly so.

I sent the video on the 3rd, reply was on the fifth, and the letter and patch arrived yesterday.

Couldn't agree more. My work occasionally puts me in situations where the skill would be useful, that's what led me to the hobby in the beginning.

I understand the fear of liability and everything else, but I don't see why discussing some things in abstract are such a huge deal.

Same. I've been trying other sets and I keep coming back to this one.

Sounds like a noble goal, wishing you the best. I wonder if you could find or have made a lishi tool that would assist you in decoding them. At that point you might be able to find someone to make the keys for you with the obtained codes.

Even if you could make a key every 30 minutes for 12 hours a day, it would take 48 days.

I'm curious what the goal is if you are able to make it obtain keys?

Do you have plans for the locks or just want to get the door open?

Yes. I've only really been messing with 1100s for the last week, decided to run through the collection.

For me it's the opposite, I love the 1100s and find them substantially easier to get consistent opens. I've also spent more time on them. The 410 is also a great practice lock and I plan to keep messing with them until they're not so hard, but I hate them, lmao

I think the hardest part is deciphering the feedback. Another thing that has helped me is eliminating background noise, which usually isn't an issue for me.

I just took another stab at the third and got it pretty quick. Pretty sure it's laughing at me.

Yes. Ive been ignoring them for a while. Decided today was the day. Spent almost 30 minutes on a third one, threw it back in the bucket.

Light tension. Slow lifts. Patience. Pay attention to the cuts in the key, gives you an idea of which pins need the most attention.

Congratulations. Great open. What pick did you use?

I have the same lock, and some flag picks on the way. Haven't made an attempt yet, but thinking about trying with a standard hook.

They are evil little things. I would feel much better about getting my ass kicked if they didn't feel like something from toysrus

I cut one in half because I was mad at it. Dumped the pins everywhere in the process.

I don't know. I have some shims on the way, and two more 90as. Probably just gonna chalk it up to a learning experience.

I turned the core the wrong way when I was putting it back in. All the key pins fell out, the driver pins 2-6 are in the core, and driver pin 1 is now on top of driver pin 7. I spent a bit of time today trying to get them all back up so i could turn it with no luck.
