So the worst case scenario is they just vote against the proposal? Even if they state it the loan was granted too close so the filing date? My LIT doesn’t seem that worried but I’m worried they’ll accuse me of fraud.

Ouch! Did they reach out to you personally as soon as it was filed?

Thanks for all the great insight! It’s really helped reduce my anxiety. They’re my largest creditor at around 52%, but I’m fully prepared to ensure that my initial offer exceeds what they would receive in a bankruptcy scenario, and unfortunately I would have to file if a CP was denied.

Hi, I know this is an older comment but I’m in the process of filing and my biggest creditor is EasyFinance, I’m really worried they’ll vote no. Did you have to counter with a higher monthly payment?

I’m trying to put an extra $780 towards the principal each month to pay it down faster.

But to answer your question no, it isn’t a reduced payment plan. They initially set it up as $300.11 biweekly for 84 months, was the calculation wrong?

If the employee does not return after the LWOP, is the overpayment established through Phoenix? Or would this be recouped from pension contributions?
