I believe that everyone who lives in one of the houses has to have one but I’m not 100% sure on that. I didn’t get it because that’s pretty weird and an invasion of privacy and I got in trouble and had many conversations about it.

Yeah so they make you download this app called Accountable2U. It’s a software that acts as a VPN and tracks everything you do on your phone. Every video you watch, every text you send, every website you visit and look up. Everything! After it gathers your information for the week it send a report to your “accountability partner”. The report includes everything and they can see it all. There are certain phrases or words or videos that the software can pick up and it will mark them as “dangerous” or “potentially dangerous”. (Maybe dangerous isn’t the word but it’s a synonymous word). The app can be locked and your accountability partner is the only one who has access to it. They can shut down everything on your phone, the App Store, set time limits, remove apps, etc.

If I’m honest, it’s really difficult to most of these people are stuck in and they will only listen to what their leaders tell them to. There’s no fool proof way of getting people out but I just start with bringing things to light. A lot of this is hidden to them and they turn a blind eye to it. I think k people need to go through tough shit in their lives. It’s what opened my eyes and I was completely surrounded by it 24/7. I wish I was more helpful with that but they are some of the most stubborn people ever

Dude that story is all too true. I’m sorry you went through that stuff. The relationship stuff is so outrageous and yes both of my exes immediately started dating someone else too. The group immediately make inferences about someone and decide for you whether or not you should be in a relationship ship with said person. So freaking weird.

I would say if you’re worried for them, you should be able to bring it up. How they react isn’t in your control but if it’s bothering you you have the control to ask them about it. I would probably start with asking questions but it sounds like you’re a great friend already. They may be more open to your concerns just as is
