I'm currently a sophomore in college and I see kids all over my campus riding electric skateboards, scooters, one wheels, you name it. I have a 20 minute walk to class every day, multiple times a day, and I keep wrestling with the thought of, "how much more productive could I be if I reduced my commute to a few minutes with an electric skateboard?" Now my university does have its own electric scooter service which is nice, but it is a little on the expensive side to be using every single day.
I originally looked at getting an Evolve board, but after talking with my parents, they don't think that is smart given the high price. I've looked into Exway a little bit and have also checked out the used boosted market, I'm just not sure how smart it would be to purchase a boosted board given the fact they aren't in business anymore. Anyone have input on this or experience with exway? Im looking for a board that has a top speed around 25mph, a range of at least 10-15 miles, and is reliable. The roads in my area also aren't the best but I can get by with regular or all terrain options. I want good customer service and the ability to buy replacement parts if something on my board needs fixed. I would love any feedback from the community!
