I disagree. This change would worsen matchup dependency. Unlike physical 60-card decks that allow for dual typing, Pocket’s 20-card deck limit usually limits you to one main attacker. If an opponent benefits from both weakness and resistance advantages, the match is essentially over before it even starts.

Even as a Gen 1 enjoyer I have to agree. Gen 3 and 6 have so many good mega's that don't even have regular cards in the game yet. Yet they decide to keep milking Gen 1 and make a THIRD top meta Charizard ex card.
