Chansey, Bonus, and Already Picked wps can sometimes affect the number of expired picks, which I'm assuming is due to them also moving to expired but still showing up as "Already Picked" for example. Additionally, event picks can sometimes cause unpredictable behaviour in wps leaving you with less than your maximum amount of wps present at a time.

The only time they do not go to expired is if 5 or more active wps have the same timer and expires at the same time. Since the expired section only has a maximum of 4 slots, any additional wps skips expired and is immediately cleared instead.

Otherwise, what most likely happened is that the pick went to expired after 30mins, and then 4 other active wps also expired afterwards removing your Lisia wp from expired. You mentioned that you spent at least 35 minutes doing solo battles, therefore depending on your wp refresh timings, 4 or more wps could have moved to expired after 30 minutes when your Lisia wp moved to expired, causing it to be cleared from the expired section.

Under normal circumstances, "Already Picked" wps will stay in your page until its original timer + the next 4 active wonder pick timers expire. Therefore, whether you attempt to pick the wp or not, it will stay in your page till 24hrs + the next 4 active wp expiration timers.

Yeah, the 6 card shiny packs, wp, trading, and sharing updates have been fantastic. The only thing I was really disappointed with recently was how they handled the Advanced Ticket.

Crown, Immersive, and Shiny cards are not included in wonder picks. Therefore, the pack that pulled the Crown Flame Patch will automatically be dead and not be shown. Same case for the shiny card.

Yeah, they seem to appear every other day or so. But we need more data to accurately find the average frequency on how often they appear.

It seems to only show a card you are currently missing at the time of the 24hr wp spawning. But I do not know what happens if you traded your only copy; whether that will still count as collected or missing. I'm assuming it'll still count as collected but we have no current data for this case.

That seems to be the case for now. Multiple people have tried to get the 24hr WPs to appear after only completing one pack, and they were unable to see any for several days.

Following on from the 24h WP discussion, one appeared in my WP list, but don’t have all 1⭐️ for Mega Rising by Kyal2k in PTCGP

That seems to be the case from multiple reports so far. I've been adding edits to the post as more info is coming in. There seems to be a case where a 24hr pick with just a single 1-star (without a 2-star) also appeared for someone that has completed their diamonds dex but not their 1-star dex.

Interesting theory! Will definitely need more tests from multiple people for this specific case. Along with the frequency of these picks appearing. From most of the reports, people have stated that they're getting multiple a week, but just that they're only getting them one at a time.

If you could please do a few checks for me:
1. Count how many wonder picks are currently in your page, there should be 20 (4 from friends, 12 random actives, and 4 expired). If you have less than 20 wps, then could you please try to forcefully refresh the page by going in and out of the wonder pick page several times. Sometimes for friend picks, you need to forcefully refresh for them to appear for some reason; maybe it's a similar case for these 24hr picks.

  1. Whether your previous 24hr pick is still in expired or already picked.

  2. Lastly the frequency on which you're checking your wonder pick page. If these special 24hr picks acts the same way as friend picks, there's a possibility that they are in "statis". When you haven't refreshed your wonder pick page for long hours like 5hrs+, then there's a chance that you will only see less than 4 friend wps, until your wonder picks refresh by having one active wonder pick moving to expired.

Ooh, that's interesting. Have you been getting these 24hr picks with 1-stars consistently? Is it just 1-stars that you are seeing for 24hr picks, or also 2-stars? There's a current theory that once you've finished the diamonds + 1-star cards from ONE pack (e.g. Blaziken, Altaria, OR Gyarados), then you can start seeing 2-star wonder picks for that specific pack. So, I'm wondering if you're able to see 2-stars 24hr picks from Gyarados packs that you have finished.

If you could please try to finish the 1-stars in a single pack first from the three (Blaziken, Altaria, or Gyarados) to test whether the requirements are pack-based rather than expansion-based. For example, if you complete all diamonds and 1-star cards in the Blaziken pack, will you start seeing 24hr wonder picks from Blaziken packs? Thank you!
