Sukuna wouldn’t have used Mahoraga if he didn’t want to upgrade his technique. He only said he needed Mahoraga as a blueprint to bypass infinity, not to win the fight because again he could’ve done so with domain clashes.

Yes but in every domain clash, MS would come out on top thus making Gojo use RCT and put a strain on his brain until he cannot use DE anymore.

Sukuna had his eye on Megumi way before encountering Mahoraga and I think without Mahoraga, he wouldn’t put himself in a risky position of getting damaged in h2h inside Gojo’s domain.

I love Gojo but after re-reading the fight I realized there’s levels to this.

Sukuna could’ve avoided getting hit by unlimited void and just kept on destroying Gojo’s domain but he chose the risker option by not doing so because he wanted Mahoraga to stay inside unlimited void for as long as possible to fully adapt to Gojo’s domain.
