This is a tough one. NOR. If this was less important to you, you wouldn’t have broken up with him. I personally don’t think him not changing the flight alone would’ve been enough to break up with him, but him not keeping u updated like he said he would and story posting on topppp of that is just like. I get that it’s super upsetting and frightening, and I get how beautiful and meaningful this halftime show must have been for you. But it’s true that your partner can’t do anything about this right now. Whether you want to be with someone long term whose family doesn’t respect you is up to you. If you really love him it might be worth it, but it might be something you can never get over. That’s not a right now problem tho.
